Smoothie Bowls and Super Foods

I’ve been getting asked a lot about how to make my smoothie bowls so I though I would do a post explaining. It is SUPER easy with a high powered blender. I also ran into a friend the other day grocery shopping and she had NO idea that you could buy your supplements and “super foods” like chia/hemp seeds on Amazon for way cheaper and plus you don’t have to go shopping which is a huge bonus in my book. Hahaha! So here is a lot of randomness and a recipe!

Smoothie Bowl

2 frozen bananas

3 cups spinach (fresh or frozen)

1 T. Flax Seed (I do 1 T. ground flax seed daily and this is an easy way to get it in…Flax is super high in Omega 3’s and amazing for your skin care!)

You may need just a touch of water too depending on your blender but less is more! You want this THICK like ice cream!

Blend that up

Put your toppings on. That easy! Hahaha!

Toppings I do every time:

Chia Seeds

Chia Seeds are an energy boosting, athlete super food!

Hemp Seeds

Hemp Seeds are an amazing source of plant-based protein and work wonders for your skin as well.

Sesame Seeds

Sesame Seeds I take for hair health and growth primarily but they have other amazing benefits too such as being high in protein and being used for centuries in ayurvedic remedies.

I also top with walnuts, frozen pomegranate seeds, fresh berries or oats. And I ALWAYS top with these vegan chocolate chips because who doesn’t like chocolate for breakfast and I swear these babies are amazing!
