Day 10: Who Broke my Heart the Most?

Day 10!

10 mile trail RUN yesterday! Had a blast picking flowers, taking pictures and just enjoying the little things that make the trails so wonderful. Blasted my music and sang outloud. God I love running! It is so damn therapeutic!

I love these lyrics from the song Stand by You by Rachel Platten:

Oh, truth—I guess truth is what you believe in
And faith—I think faith is having a reason

This is what I use to fuel my running. I have been using this flavor and brand since I was training for Ironman. It settles well for me and I actually love the taste. PS…If you haven’t noticed yet…I am not sponsored or anything by these things. Just sharing what works for me and what I buy to fuel!

Lipstick of the day was this fabulous purple! I have never been bold enough to wear purple but my bestie looked like a total babe in it one night and it inspired me so I picked some up! I think purple may be my new fall look!

Question of the Day

To find the 30 questions I will be answering this month … check back to THIS original blog post.

10. Write a letter to the person who broke your heart the most.

Cheryl Strayed once said:

Be BRAVE enough to break your OWN heart.

This quote is everything to me.

I have had to make some VERY hard decisions in my life. And this is what I have learned”

“You will know you made the right decision when you pick the hardest and most painful choice but your heart is at peace.”

Thank you ME. For being BRAVE enough to break my own heart. Through breaking my own heart, I have found the most peace. It is never easy. But you can’t deny the stillness in your soul.

Questions for YOU

  1. Have you read the book WILD?
  2. What do you use to fuel on runs?
